SaveDamascus.org is a community group of local Damascus citizens. We are your neighbors, friends, and businesses living and operating in Damascus. For tax purposes, we operate under the umbrella of the Livable Damascus PAC.
Here is what some your neighbors are saying about these ballot measures:
"I am certain that if passed they would hobble our Government" -Tony Passannante
"Citizens need to realize Dan Phegley's agenda is not the same as their own. His soundbites can be convincing, but his ultra-libertarian goals will soon kill services and property values in Damascus."-Keith Marshall
"Local control and safety were the top two reasons that citizen's voted to incorporate Damascus in the first place. I hope that citzens see through the lies and misinformation to understand that these measures are attacking and weakening these values." -Tim Giorgi
"We are, in effect, guinea pigs for Ask Damascus and Americans for Prosperity. They are using our community to test destructive and expensive legislation because the county or other well-established cities like Gresham and Happy Valley are too big to take on."-Joyce Schwer
"Our City Government is not the “bad guy” that some infer, they are us, our neighbors, family members, and friends."-Cindy Passannante
Your friends, neighbors, and businesses strongly urge you to vote
